Rivas Environmental Consulting, Inc. (REC) is an environmental science consulting firm with a clear vision of a better future. REC provides comprehensive solutions and services in the fields of environmental science, geology, emergency response, regulatory compliance and construction consulting. Our vision and commitment to environmental management are contributing factors in the quality of life for the future.

Rivas Environmental Consultants is incorporated in the state of Texas. We are minority-owned and operated. REC is classified as a small disadvantaged business. 

A steady pattern of growth and expansion have been the hallmarks that have fueled the company for a decade. In a space of ten years, Rivas grew from a small sole proprietorship with two employees to a fully realized firm with over twenty employees from a number of disciplines. As our employee numbers grew so did our experience. We initially provided environmental site assessments and documentation for underground storage tank (UST) removal operations. REC now provides a full spectrum of environmental services to private, industrial, municipal, state and federal clients.

REC utilizes a full time staff of environmental professionals including: geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, soil scientists, environmental scientists, and environmental field technicians. These professionals, coupled with heavy equipment and task riented field construction personnel, perform a wide variety of environmental services that address affected media including: soils, surface water, groundwater, air, land use, fish, wildlife, threatened and endangered species, vegetation, wetlands, and other natural resources. All these services are provided to the client with safety, quality and regulatory compliance as priority concerns.
